In this article, you can find information about the new audio analysis tool.
What is it and what does it do?
The "Audio Analysis Issues" information icon and popup are visible next to each track when a copyright match has been detected.
In case of a match, it displays detailed information about any copyrighted audio already distributed to DSPs and corresponding to the track uploaded by the user into the platform.
This allows you to detect any potential fraud attempts (upload of infringing material by end-users) and helps our Quality Control to prevent copyright infringement issues with DSPs.
How does it work?
Each audio uploaded into the platform is analyzed by a fingerprinting algorithm and matched against any existing copyrighted asset.
The section of the audio track eventually containing a positive match will be displayed as shown below:
What happens if an audio analysis issue is detected?
Any release containing infringing material will be rejected and not distributed to DSPs.
