Beatport Label Submission can be requested only for electronic music labels. Here below we explain how it works:
A. End User has to request the Beatport Label permission
From the user account, go on tab "Labels" > "Permissions" > click on "Request permission".
B. The Admin will receive the notification email
The Admin will receive this notification email:"This message has been automatically generated to notify you that the user user@email.com has asked for permission to distribute to Beatport (BEA) channel, through the label LABEL NAME."
C. The Admin contact the user and submit the request to Sepulchral Silence
These are the steps the Admin should follow:
- Contact the user and explain Beatport's requirements for Label Submissions: at least 10 releases every 6 months.
- If the label meets the above requirements:
- Download the form attached at the end of this article and request the end-user to fulfill it.
- Request the end user a logo image of its Label with the following format: JPG, 500px x 500px size.
- Contact Sepulchral Silence Support at support@sepulchralsilence.com attaching the label's logo and the fulfilled form.
D. Sepulchral Silence will manage the request together with Beatport
-
- As soon as Beatport has reviewed the request, the label will be authorized (or rejected) from Sepulchral Silence.
- Confirmation of the process will be given to the Admin via the related open ticket.
Important: It is mandatory to follow the process as it is described here in order to receive authorization from Beatport, otherwise the release will not be published even though a label is approved on a platform level and the platform has sent it to the channel.
*If there is an Own Contract active, at any time the Admin can approve or reject a Label permission from the same "Label" tab.
