Amazon has launched now its app for artists. The new Amazon Music for Artists app provides the tools every artist needs to grow, engage, and monetize their fans on Amazon Music. How do I get access?
First of all, head to the Apple App or Google Play Store and install the Amazon Music for Artists app. Once the app is open, you will be directed to sign in using an Amazon retail account. If you do not have an Amazon retail account, you will need to create one to continue going through the sign-up and artist claim flow
To add an artist to your account:

Click on the “Claim An Artist” button at the bottom of the search screen. Search and select the artist you represent.

Press “Take Me There”: Verify your relationship with this artist by providing to Amazon your role and company information. Authenticating with your artist’s social media accounts helps them to expedite the approval process.

Press “Submit“ when all information has been completed. Once the claims have been verified/approved on our end, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know access to the artist has been enabled within your account.

Artists will be also able to contact directly with Amazon if they have problems with their content’s placement in artist profiles. How can they fix this?
Reach out to Amazon via the Amazon Music for Artists app > “Help“ option (under Settings). Be sure to provide the following information which they will need to resolve:

Your Artist Name.

Your artist detail page link (either from within Amazon Music or the Amazon website).

A list of albums (ASIN codes) that should be on your profile and/or the list of albums that should NOT be on your profile.
*An ASIN code is a unique alphanumeric code (10 characters) that is used to identify products on Amazon. (Ex. B01LYNXPG7 - B08W9BGDG1 - B083PQ3RFV)

How do I update my artist profile image?
Head to the Amazon Music for Artists app, and follow the instructions below:

Under Profile & Tools, customize both your Profile Photo and Background Image using their respective edit buttons.

Resize the image if needed.

What are Amazon Music’s artist image guidelines?
The images must meet the following requirements:

Files must be either jpg or png.
-
Profile Photo must be at least 500x 500 pixels.

Background Image must be at least 1920 x 1440 pixels. For best results, we recommend the artist’s face be in the upper 40% of the image, roughly centered horizontally.

Image file must be no larger than 15MB.

Avoid text, logos, and busy images.
-
The image should not contain violence or partial/explicit nudity.

Images should not contain any infringing materials.
Can I update my artist bio?
Not for now. Amazon Music does not currently support artist bios.

Related Playlists include playlists on which your tracks are featured.
